Themes & appearance

Change how UFO looks — pick a theme, set the workspace accent color, put a picture behind the chat, fine-tune every color, and change text size or language.

Most look-and-feel settings are personal and stay on the device you set them on. The accent color is the exception: it belongs to the workspace.

You want to Where
Change the whole look Settings → Preferences → Appearance → Theme
Put a picture behind the chat Settings → Preferences → Appearance → Chat Background
Tweak individual colors Settings → Preferences → Appearance → Theme (advanced)
Set the workspace color Settings → General → Accent Color (admins)
Bigger or smaller text Settings → Preferences → General → Font size
Change the app language Settings → Preferences → General → Language

Pick a theme

Settings → Preferences → Appearance → Theme, then click a card. Each card is a live preview. The theme applies to this browser or app only — set it on each device you use.

Set the workspace accent color

A workspace admin can give the workspace its own color:

  1. Open Settings → General.
  2. Under Accent Color, pick a swatch.
  3. Press Save Changes.

Everyone in the workspace sees it. It shows with the Noir and Casual themes; the other themes keep their own built-in accent.

Put a picture behind the chat

  1. Open Settings → Preferences → Appearance.
  2. Under Chat Background, press Upload image and choose a picture.
  3. Drag Opacity to taste — it stays faint so messages are easy to read.

Change image swaps it; Remove takes it away. Like themes, the background is for this browser or app only.

Fine-tune every color

Settings → Preferences → Appearance → Theme (advanced) → Customize colors. Change any color — background, text, links, accent, borders and more. Your changes apply on top of the current theme, on this browser only.

  • Export saves your colors as a file; Import loads one — a quick way to share a look or move it to another computer.
  • Reset goes back to the theme's own colors.

Change text size or language

Settings → Preferences → General:

  • Font size — scales chat and other text on this device.
  • Language — the app's language on this device: English, 한국어, 日本語, 中文 or Español.

The language agents reply in is a separate, workspace-wide setting: Settings → General → Language.
