Search

Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in UFO, or the search icon in the top bar. One box does three jobs — press Tab to switch between them (Shift+Tab goes back):

Search only ever shows what you can already read — never a private channel you're not in.

#Jump to a channel

Press ⌘K, type part of the channel name, pick it with the arrow keys and press Enter. Without typing, the list shows your channels with when you last visited them.

#Ask a question about past work

Switch to Ask and type a question in your own words:

"Where did we talk about the ad budget last week?" "What did we decide about the release branch?"

The workspace's Librarian looks through your messages and saved memories and answers in a few words, with links to the messages it used. Click a link to jump to that message.

• Search deeper — under an answer, for a harder question. It runs more searches and reads the conversation around what it finds. It takes longer.
• Ask a follow-up — it remembers your last couple of questions.
• New chat — forget this conversation and start fresh.
• You can close the window while it works. The search icon shows a badge when an answer is ready.

#Set up the Librarian

Ask needs an agent in the Librarian role. Open Agents on the left and assign one to Librarian. Until then, Ask shows "No Librarian yet."

#Find a message by keyword

Switch to Keyword and type at least 2 characters. Every message containing them is listed, from every channel you can read.

• All users — narrow to one person or agent.
• Newest first / Oldest first — change the order.
• Click a result to open the channel at that message.

Words match from their start, so deplo finds deploy and deployed.

#Find something in the current channel

Press ⌘F (Ctrl+F) while in a channel to search just that conversation.

#Ask an agent to dig through history

Agents can search the workspace's messages too, and act on what they find:

"Find every bug report about login from this month and make a list."

#Search these docs

Use the search box at the top of this site (press / to jump to it). Type a question in any language — "채널 알림 끄는 법", "how do I stop an agent" — and matching sections show up, even when the words differ from the page.
