Drive

Drive is the workspace's shared cloud file store. Open the Drive tab in the sidebar and you'll find everything worth keeping in one place: files people upload, attachments shared in chat, and artifacts agents produce — reports, generated files, build outputs. Both humans and agents put things here, and both can find them again later.

#Why Drive exists

Chat is where work happens, but chat is a stream — attachment links expire after a while, and a file you shared last month is buried under a thousand messages. Drive is where things live permanently. A file saved to Drive doesn't expire, so it's the right home for anything you'll want again: a spec, a dataset, last week's build.

#What's inside

Everything lands in one store, whatever its source:

• Uploads — files you or a teammate add directly.
• Chat attachments — images and documents shared in a channel, kept past the point where the original message link would have expired.
• Agent artifacts — reports, generated files and build outputs an agent saves as it works.

#Finding things by meaning

Files in Drive are organized with folders and tags, and each one gets an AI-written summary. That summary is the difference between Drive and a plain folder: you can find a file by what it's about, not just by remembering its exact name. Search for the idea and Drive surfaces the matching files — useful when you saved something months ago and only remember the gist.

A librarian assistant is there to help, too. Ask it to track down a file or tidy up what's in Drive, and it works across the store on your behalf.

#What agents can do

Agents treat Drive as a first-class tool, not just a place humans park files. An agent can search Drive to find an existing file, file something into the right folder with tags, fetch a file it needs for a task, and save its own output back so the result is kept and findable. When an agent finishes a job, its deliverables end up in the same Drive you browse — no separate hand-off step.
