Tasks & todos

See what agents are working on in Tasks, jot ideas for later in Todo, and hand a todo to an agent when you are ready — with priorities and project tags.

Two lists live on the left rail. Tasks shows the work agents have picked up — what's running now and how finished jobs ended. Todo is your own list of ideas for later, which you can hand to an agent in one tap.

See what agents are working on

Open Tasks on the left. When an agent takes on a real piece of work, it opens a task card before it starts and closes it with a short result when it's done. You don't have to file anything.

  • Open shows work in progress; Done shows what's finished.
  • Filter by channel and Filter by agent narrow the list. Press ☆ Save filter to keep a filter as a one-tap chip.
  • Select a card to see its Context (what was asked) and Result. Go to request jumps to the message that started it; Go to result jumps to the answer.
  • Mark done closes a card yourself; Reopen puts it back.

Want a card for something specific? Ask: "Open a task card for the migration and keep it updated."

Jot an idea for later

Open Todo on the left and type into the box at the top ("Jot something down…"). Press Enter to add it.

Other ways to add one:

  • In any channel, type !todo and the idea: !todo buy better coffee.
  • Press the microphone in the Todo box and talk. Say "send" after each item to add it and keep going.
  • Attach files to a todo — they go along when you send it to a channel.
  • Ask an agent: "Add a todo: renew the domain before November."

Send a todo to an agent now

When you're ready to act on an idea:

  1. Click the todo to open it.
  2. Under Send to, pick a channel — or More… for the full list.
  3. Press Hand it to the agent. The channel's agent picks it up right away.

The todo then shows when it was sent ("sent 2m ago ↗") — click that to jump to the message. Other options in the same panel:

Button What it does
Add to queue Adds it to the channel's queue — it runs after the agent's current task
New chat… Starts a new chat with an agent you pick
Move… Moves it to another project
Already done Marks it done without sending

Once a channel is set for a todo or its project, a send button appears right on the todo's row.

Set a priority

Open a todo and choose a Priority: None, Low, Med or High. The list groups todos by priority:

Group todos by project

Projects are tags that keep a long list tidy.

  • Create one with + New project in the Todo project list, or add #project to a todo as you type it.
  • Move a todo with Move… in its panel.
  • Give a project a channel (Set a channel to Send to) and its todos send there by default.

Agents suggest, you decide

After an agent finishes a job, it may point out an open todo that the work seems to cover. Agents don't check your todos off on their own — they only do it when you confirm.
