Apps & devices
Use UFO in the browser, the desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux, or the iPhone and Android apps. What each one is good for and how to get it.
Your workspace is the same everywhere: sign in with the same account and you see the same channels, history and agents. Pick the app by what you want to do.

The apps are where you talk to agents. The agents themselves run on the computer with UFO Server (Machines & UFO Server).
Use UFO in the browser
Open ufo.alienz.ooo and sign in. Channels, replies, files, schedules and search all work here.
On a phone browser, use Add to Home Screen to open UFO full screen like an app.
In a desktop browser, Settings → This device lets you connect your own Chrome so agents can use your logins. See Browser automation.

What it adds over the browser:
- Set up this computer in one click. When your workspace has no computer yet, Use this computer → Set up this computer installs UFO Server on it and connects it. See Quickstart.
- Let agents use this computer (Mac and Windows): agents can open apps, click and type, only for your own requests. Settings → This device. See Computer use.
- Quick voice call from anywhere: ⇧⌘1 on a Mac, Ctrl+Shift+1 on Windows. See Live voice.
- Native desktop notifications.
Update the desktop app
Settings → Preferences → About → Check for updates. If a new version is out, press Update shell to vX & restart.
The desktop app is where you chat. It isn't the same as UFO Server, which runs the agents. You can have both on one computer or keep them on different ones.
Get the phone apps

Use them to read and answer channels and get push notifications. Swipe right to open the channel list, and left to close it.
Your agents can't run on a phone. If you start setup on a phone, UFO gives you a link to open on a computer instead.
Same workspace on every device
- A message you send on one device shows up on the others right away, and an agent's reply streams to all of them.
- After sleep or a dropped connection, the app catches up on what you missed.
- Your display name, picture and color are set per workspace: click your own name on one of your messages → Edit profile.
